How do I pay my bills?
Water Bill
China Township sends water bills to residents quarterly – in March, June, September and December. Payment is due within 30 days. The website will be updated to reflect payments within 24 to 48 hours.
At this time, residents can pay their water bills by cash, money order or paper check. You are responsible for ensuring your check clears the bank. If your check does not clear, the payment will be void and your water bill will remain unpaid.
Taxes
China Township sends out two tax bills, summer tax mailed out July 1st due September 14th and a winter bill mailed out in December due February 14th. The website will be updated to reflect payments within 24 to 48 hours. Click here for our Online Assessing, Tax & Water/Sewer Lookup.
If you do not make your tax payment by the last day in February, you can either take your payment, or mail your check or money order, to the County:

ONLINE UTILITY PAYMENTS
China Township provides the ability to view and pay your taxes and utility bills online via BS&A Internet and Point & Pay Software as a service to our citizens and community. Those wishing to view the information in person may do so at the China Township Hall at 4560 Indian Trail.
A 3% fee applies and the bill must be for $2.00 minimum.

Wednesday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If you need to talk to someone in the water department, Utility Billing Clerk, Brandy Ciaciuch, Hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-12:30pm.
If paying in person, please bring entire bill with payment.
The bottom portion of your water bill will get stamped and be your receipt.
AFTER HOURS DROP BOX
For your convenience there is a gray drop box located on the side of the Township Hall (left side if facing the front door – the side with the garage and playground). The box is clearly marked for payments. Please DO NOT deposit cash in this drop box. Payments by check can be deposited in this drop box 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments submitted during non-business hours will be received by the Treasurer when the office reopens.
